“Obsidian Tides" - 36x24"
Obsessed is an understatement! Maggie’s “Obsidian Tides” first captured my attention when Maggie introduced it as “the moodiest piece” in her Drift collection and, as a moody coastline lover myself, I knew I had to have it. Having lived with this piece on my living room wall for a little over 4 months now, I am constantly impressed by how powerfully this painting presents the very essence of a coastline. Maggie expertly captured not just the landscape’s physical form, but also its atmosphere, tension, and shifting moods.
What I love most about this piece is that it holds space for whatever I bring to it (peace, restlessness, awe, you name it!)and it meets me differently each time I look at it. Maggie’s ability to create art that changes as you do is nothing short of incredible. I couldn’t love “Obsidian Tides” more… but ask me again tomorrow.
The frame is beautiful as well and the shipping process was smooth. I couldn’t be prouder/happier to own a Maggie Sackmann original and highly recommend her work.

Speechless...
Still can't believe we actually own this piece. It was stunning online (we literally gasped the first time we saw it), but seeing it in person was overwhelming in the best way. The depth of color and texture is incredible. From the sea mist to the beautiful sunset, it transports you to the shores. We love Acadia, so displaying this in our home feels extra special. You can't help but stop in your tracks and admire it for a moment when you walk by. We actually teared up when it arrived and it's already one of our most prized possessions.

I’ve been admiring Maggie’s lovely paintings for several months and finally decided to purchase. The print is moody, complicated, and looks perfectly at home in our dining room. I opted for the frame and I’m so pleased with it as well.
